General Info
Our programs have been perfected to give your child the knowledge and tools they need to succeed through out their life. We use the A Beka curriculum, an outstanding curriculum built on a foundation of academic excellence and Christian character training. Poems, songs and finger plays are used with every age to expand our curriculum while encouraging the children to have fun while learning! Along with the A Beka curriculum we teach life skills such as manners, social skills, good habits and help them foster inner discipline and a sense of order. While finding the balance between nurturing and encouraging exploration, we teach the children the social and self help skills they will need in life. We use positive guidance techniques that will help your child to succeed in the classroom and in life.

My daughter Morgan has been here (at the 82nd and University location) for a few months now, and words can't describe how awesome this place is. She loves her teachers and the staff are extremely friendly! Would recommend to anyone who needs a good, safe, and fun daycare!

My son and daughter, Z-man and Eliana, love attending daycare at the 82nd and University location. The Christian environment as well as the learning curriculum have given them a strong foundation to stand upon once they reach grade school.

My children, Eliana and Z-man Ward, attend Treehouse Academy on 2504 University and they have learned so much and are advanced for their age. My favorite part is that they have learned about God and the little songs and prayers they sing warms my heart.

My daughter has attended the 2504 82nd st. Treehouse location since she was old enough to stay. She loves all of her teachers and is always smiling when I drop her off and pick her up!

Overall

I found the curriculum for the 2yo to be very basic. Almost every day my daughter will brought home a piece of paper with scribbles, although I enjoy her art she is very capable at drawing crude letters. So, they do not actually include such activities, which is contrary to what I was told. Additionally, I have made multiple visits to the academy at various times, and each visit the class was doing the same thing; kids all-over the room, doing various things while the 'instructors' sat and watched; these visits were at least 10mins. in length or longer. Also, it was near 100 degrees the other day and I happened to visit during outside play, nearly all the children were standing around the corner of the building, in the sun, while the 'instructors' sat and gossiped, I was standing by the door for at least 5mins. listening, so this was not some mere subjective observation; my daughter got a sunburn this same day; I asked about the application of sunscreen on days when it is very bright with clear skies, quote "we forgot to do that, but we usually do." Also, 30 day notice means we need a notice prior to the 1st of the month; I gave notice on the 3rd of the month, and I will be charged for an additional full month, not 3 days prorated. Oh, I am not an overly concerned mother, I am a 33 yo male with 10 yrs in USMC infantry, so I tend to be very rough.
