        Root Note Studio is a private music lesson service, managed by Liz Lawrence, and based out of Lowell, MA. Part of this service includes coming to your home to do a lesson. Each lesson is eagerly tailored to the student's needs, stregnths, and weaknesses in order to help them learn to the best of their ability, and ultimately, have fun!

        Hello, prospective students! I am an experienced working musician and private teacher, and am currently taking on students. I will gladly travel to your home to teach private music lessons. It is a convienient and comfortable way to take private lessons, and has so many advantages. I teach a variety of instruments to include guitar, pedal steel guitar, bassoon, saxophone, and more. Music is a language, and I want to give you the tools that you need in order to speak that language fluently. We will focus on your interests and genres that you prefer, while incorporating ear training, music theory, and new techniques specific to your skill level and instrument. Each lesson is tailored to each student's learning style.         I am extemly pleased with the progress I have made thusfar. Elizabeth's method of teaching has taught me so much more than I would have expected to learn in the short amount of time that I have been involved so far. I am looking forward to a long and productive musical journey with Elizabeth and I'm confident that my talents, with Elizabeth's help, will improve beyond what I have imagined to achieve on my own through many years of unproductive struggle.

        Liz is a great teacher. She is always on time to give my daugher a lesson. Always prepared, laid back, fun, and still educational and sets goals with my daughter. I'm so glad she moved to Mass, we definitely are benefitting from that!
