I love this place, and my kids do too. I have two sons enrolled at CMH, one in 5th grade and another in 3rd. Both have been there since they were 3 years old. When we were first looking for a school, we knew we wanted Montessori (if you are unfamiliar with the Montessori method, see the short but terrific explanation on YouTube titled "Trevor Eissler "Montessori Madness!" - 321 FastDraw") . CMH delivers a Montessori education in an idyllic environment - a modern building and learning materials surrounded by acres and acres of nature. The low student:teacher ratio has allowed lots of individual attention, and the relatively small size of the school reduces social distractions. I'm so pleased with the results: kids who have learned a lot and who still love learning.

An amazing school with incredibly dedicated, well trained, energetic teachers. Teachers show a real understanding of the Montessori method and have the utmost respect for their students and parents at the school. Teachers are willing to go the extra mile - stay late and miss lunches to help their students. My boys love the teachers. So do I. The outdoor setting, with its ponds, hiking trails, blooming flowers, and berry bushes make it truly a magical place. The school rests on 8 beautiful, rolling acres. If I could give the teachers and the school more than five stars, I would.

We feel fortunate to have stumbled across CMH 5 years ago. Our children have flourished under the guidance of the extremely dedicated and caring teachers. CMH gives each child the individual attention and resources they need to reach their full potential. As a parent, I love coming home and hearing my third grader tell me her day was awesome or proudly tell me about a particular big work she finished. The teachers at CMH have a wonderful way of cultivating a childs natural curiosity into a love of learning.

Children's Meeting House has been a terrific school for our two boys. Their teachers are amazing, and we love that there are two teachers in each classroom. We also love that there's an on-staff naturalist to take full advantage of the school's setting on several acres. We highly recommend.

This school is unable to deal with a child who cannot sit and "take a lesson." And, if they can sit and take a lesson, their academics are so woefully inadequate that they should be shut down. My second grader was given words to spell as sky, cry, fly. She read on a 5th grade level. Email is not responded to and when asked to give a plan as to how to deal with my children they offered me a copy of the curriculum. I requested the director and the teacher to keep me notified when my son had issues and I still had to email and call them and ask what was going on during the day. I had to resort to putting a note in his pocket that said - if I am to go to the director's office, you must call my mom. This is an abomination. This school should not be called a good school, nor Montessori in any terms. Do not send your child here, lest you are ok with an emotionally damaging and academically inept education.
