About Mortgage Warehouse History The Mortgage Warehouse was founded by Scott Riley in 2003. The company has grown steadily and is now one of the highest ranked mortgage companies in the region. The Mortgage Warehouse is licensed in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. TMW is also a HUD (United States Department of Urban Development) approved lender and licensed to originate FHA and VA loans. Business Ethics The Mortgage Warehouse is a member of the Better Business Bureau and has maintained a high rating with the BBB since inception. The Mortgage Warehouse recruits and hires mortgage professionals that have a proven track record of integrity in the industry. The Mortgage Warehouse has been recognized by Business First publication as one of the area's Top Mortgage Brokers by Volume in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. While many mortgage companies have come and gone over the past several years, TMW has consistently remained one of the top mortgage companies in its region. Over the past couple years, thousands of mortgage and financial companies have gone out of business nationwide. Despite all the problems in the financial sector, The Mortgage Warehouse has experienced tremendous growth by offering low fixed rates utilizing loan programs such as FHA. The Mortgage Warehouse's lending volume increased 41% in 2007 and 72% in 2008 during a time that some were calling "the mortgage meltdown."
