Family & Children First is a nonprofit health care organization that offers a range of treatment services to patients in Kentucky and Indiana. It operates through human resources, finance, and support and planning departments. The organization provides individual, couple, family and group therapies. It offers treatment services for behavioral problems, depression and mental trauma. The organization also provides referral, screening, crisis counseling and case management services. In addition, Family & Children First offers sexual, drug and alcohol abuse treatment services. The organization manages a staff of program managers, supervisors and support personnel. It receives donations from individuals, businesses, foundations and local campaigns. With a location in Louisville, Ky., Family & Children First publishes a newsletter.

Restoring stability is often more than one person, a couple or even an entire family can do alone. Family & Children’s Place is recognized for compassionate, innovative and effective programs that build strong, effective partnerships with clients, communities and public-private sector partners to stop and prevent child abuse, exploitation and neglect, and to help children and families heal. It begins with awareness, and reporting. If you witness or suspect child abuse, take action immediately. So whether you seek a solution to a difficult problem, a counselor or other professional wanting to make a referral, a parent looking for advice on everyday family issues, or a caring individual wishing to offer support, we provide proven services that can help.
