East Chase Apartments

This apartment complex is ran by the worst management out there! They are rude, talk behind everyone's back. It has been this way for over 15 years when I was there. I still hear complaints about these idiots! STAY CLEAR- IT WILL BE THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO!

To sum it up, very old apartments with wide spread mold and leakage problems. Not worth the money, only the convenience of location demands some value. To top it all, you have to deal with very non-cooperative, arrogant and hostile management. If you get a decent apartment with no major maintenance problems (mold and leakages in particular), which is highly unlikely (I have heard of problems even in their renovated apartments) and if you do not have to deal with the management, then you are very lucky and you should be fine. If not, God save you!

I had to vacate because of mold and I know that several other people are facing the same problem, but just bearing with it out of their other compulsions. Most of the population here seems to be floating population who come here on temporary job assignments and cannot afford to change apartments for short periods.

My baby started to develop skin allergies (I am not sure if it was mold or just a coincidence) when I had two more months left on the lease. I offered to move to a different apartment in the same property so that I need not break the lease. There were many vacant apartments at that time, but the management was not cooperative; they did not care a bit. They neither fixed the problem nor allowed me to move to a different apartment. I had no other option but to vacate and go to other community. I ended up paying rent for two months even after vacating just not to break the lease. Recently, an acquaintance had his apartment walls leaking badly creating a pool of water inside his apartment. Management was not very responsive causing the family lot of inconvenience. They just take the tenants for granted.

The management can also be fraudulent. After vacating, when I asked for refund of my security deposit they came up with some damage charges. I told them I will pay for any damages if they were real and requested them to show me the damage. They denied it outright and threatened to send it to collections, which they eventually did and I am fighting it out with collections now. I say fraudulent because they came up with these charges only after I demanded my security deposit back and denied to show me the damages.

The worst experience i have had by far the staff is unwilling to help with any issue at all and is very rude. Applying is very simple other than the fact you have to pay almost $1,000 in application fees and deposit.

STAFF IS TERRIBLE AND RUDE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND ALMOST FORCE YOU TO LEAVE JUST BY THERE DEMEANOR

comparable prices with other apartments around. great staff. old interiors of apartments, could use a revamp. great pools and grounds. we live in a one bedroom with one pet and pay 700 monthly plus utilities and cable. but we love the pool and tennis court when it is warm, not to mention the fitness center with 2 new treadmills.
