Eyeworks

Been going here for 2 years, and so far I love the eye care ethics at this place! Dr Roffis is not only great at diagnosis, but also knows and understands the patients insurance plans. Not many eye doctors in the general area (Lafayette,Louisville,Broomfiield) that I have had the displeasure of using are so well rounded. The eye doctors I've seen in past only know how to diagnosis, but when it comes to insurance and fees, they pass you along to the front desk person. In addition, i really appreciate that Dr. Roffis does not try to charge you for "medical" issues during normal eye exams like the other places I've gone to in the past. Other eye doctors in the past claim to "notice" medical issues, that warrant billing your medical insurance in addition to the normal eye exam that is covered through VSP. One doctor claimed she noticed cataracts in my eyes (I am only in my late 30''s) so that she can bill my medical plan. Both exams I've had with Dr. Roffis was strictly charged for what I went in for, eye exam and contact prescription. One eye doctor in the past also claimed i needed eye mapping, fancy machine she had that "mapped" out your vision so that she can better track progress of eye degeneration. When I finally found eye works and Dr. Roffis, I knew that I had found an honest and professional eye care specialist. Eyeworks contact lens prices are also very low! I have great insurance, and when ordering my lenses through the past eye doctors, my contact lens allowance barely covered 1 contact box per eye. With Eyeworks, i am able to get 2 boxes per eye with my allowance! Obviously past eye doctors were greedy and had extreme markup on contact lenses. I will continue to see Dr. Roffis as long as I live Colorado. Thanks for being one of the last true and honest eye doctors around!
