Overall
THEY DON'T STAND BY THEIR WORK...

THEY DON'T STAND BY THEIR WORK, AND THEY WON'T RETURN YOUR CALL. Their prices seemed great and the guy (John) seemed to know what he was talking about. Had a problem with my guitar. He said he knew what would eliminate the problem. He would have to do a bunch of work inside of it. So we agreed. 2 weeks later I had to call him because he wouldn't call me. He said "the problem is completely gone." When I got there he plugged it into his equipment at a low volume and said "there, see, the noise is gone." I couldn't tell because the volume was low. When I got home & plugged it in, the noise was still there from before, just as loud. He wouldn't answer the phone or return my call or answer the door when I went back. After two weeks he agreed to see me again, plugged it back into his equipment at low volume and argued with me that the noise was gone, and problem probably is "your amp, your equipment, your apartment's electrical outlets....." Funny things is, my amplifier is brand new, out of the box, and every other place and amp I plugged it into (rehearsal room, friend's house, etc.) has the same loud noise.

He would not take another look into it . He said if you're not happy you'll have to replace all the electronics and that will cost you a lot. No customer satisfaction at all. I paid a whole bunch of money for some work that had no effect and did not resolve the problem one bit.

Overall
Be careful...

They are very nice people, but the tech makes too much mistakes to be a "professional" including soldering the wrong wires at the wrong spot.

Each company, Dimarzio, Gibson, Seymour Duncan, all have different color codes for their pickups. Even if you tell the tech the brand and write it down, it seems to fly right over his head. Therefore, you'll get low output. This only happened once out of 3 times but... HE HANDED ME THE GUITAR IN THAT CONDITION! No test runs to see if it works 100%? Or too lazy to fix? Not acceptable...

And don't bother giving them string... they'll give you cheap crappy string instead. I gave nice Dimarzio strings and they put in something else... I could tell because Dimarzio has color coded strings. The strings I got weren't as bright and died much quicker...

Everything else did work fine. The best? No... some of the solder joints were nicely done, but some were realllyyy messy, but they worked. Out of the 3 guitars, 2 of them worked perfect. 1 however, the solder joint for the grounding came loose... That shouldn't happen. Cold joint...

Also double check if they do everything. I asked for shielding on my Strat but he told me he was done, but when I looked inside.... nothing. Wasted my time and gas money to drive all the way there...

Set-ups are good though. Plays just fine. So for set-ups, not a bad place to go. Nut work is good too.

And lastly... they take forever to reply to emails and they wont give you a courtesy call when your stuff is done. I guess he forgets? So you have to call and check up to see when he's finished or not. He wont let you know...... Very forgetful person

I ended up just buying a soldering iron which is an investment itself (you don't want a crappy Radioshack one if you wanna do this). I thought a trade for services would be an affordable and convenient trade since it was hard to sell the guitar that I was trying to sell and had 3 guitars that needed work, but in the end... I got screwed over.

I still have "left over" trade value since he forgot to shield my Strat but........ I really don't wanna go back there. Ever again.
