Johnny Park LAX Parking

Dont do it, Awful service. Never, Never use again...........

If I could rate them properly I would give them a minus 5. I haven't flown out of LAX for some time, but had always used JohnnyPark when I did. I did notice when I made my reservation online they were under new management. I had no idea how bad they had gotten. Due to weather concerns, my ticket had been bumped to an earlier flight. I was concerned when I dropped my car off, dirty office, lack of staff, etc. I just didn't have time to move my car to another lot.



My next shock came when they told me they no longer take passengers to the airport. Their shuttle took me to Lot C and I had to catch the City shuttle to the airport.



Their instructions for my return stated that when I landed, I should call their number, and when the VM menu kicked in, hit 3 to speak to a live person and request their shuttle.



My flight landed at 10 pm. It was just me and two carry-on bags. I called the number, hit 3, and let it ring, and ring, and ring... Someone finally came on the line and informed me that I would have to catch a shuttle to Lot C and they would pick me up there. The actual conversation was literally 30 seconds or less, the actual duration of my call was 5:36. They let the phone ring for over 5 minutes before they answered.



I caught the shuttle and rode it around through the various stops until I reached the place where JohnnyPark had dropped me off a few days before. Only to be told by the bus driver that this was not where JohnnyPark picked up arriving passengers.



Apparently I should have gotten off at his first stop something JohnnyPark should have told me but didn't. The bus driver showed me where to walk to, and made sure I had my cell phone on me. He could see the location where they pick passengers up at and their shuttle was not there. He insisted I call before going over their and he also stayed and waited to make sure I got through.



I called them back and they said they had left the lot but would send someone back, it would take 5 minutes. I left the lit area of Lot C and it's security guard, and walked over to what turned out to be the very empty cell phone lot. It is now 11:15 pm and I am a woman alone in an empty parking lot waiting for a shuttle from JohnnyPark that is now late. I called them back again. The manager answered, told me he had just been informed I was waiting to be picked up, and was sending the shuttle, he would give me a discount, and then hung up on me!



I finally got to their lot at 11:30 pm, an hour-and-a-half after my plane landed. I was beyond livid. I still had a two-hour drive home after picking up my car.



This is the last time I will use JohnnyPark. Next time, I'm thinking Lot C looks good. Polite, helpful bus drivers, security guards on the lot....
