Hotel Solaire

The location is very good, is just 3 min from freeway and downtown historical center and 5 min. the hotel is sufficiently equipped to meet the needs of comfort (microwave, refrigerator, iron, coffee maker). the beds are very comfortable.

We booked the Comfort Inn because we have been pleased with Comfort Inns in the past plus a lot of places were booked up.



We arrived at 1:00 just to see if they could check us in before going to our conference. They readily checked us in at the front desk and were friendly and helpful with directions.





I go into Los Angeles inner city at least one a year. I am used to what an inner city looks like and wasn't willing to pay the $300--$400 a night for places a few streets down. The hotel is safe with gated parking.

The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, the hotel was located very near downtown but wasn't too expensive.

Very accommodating and helpful staff. Room was clean and neat. Accessible to transportation. Shops and eateries are just walking distance. I'll definitely recommend this inn.

I was in L.A. for the pac 10 tournament and stayed at this place due to the cheaper price and close location to Staples Center. The room was decent sized and clean. No complaints about the service.

This hotel was a nice surprise for the rate and was conviently located near downtown LA and had cheap ($2 per night) parking. I visited LA for a conference last month at the convention center, about a 20 minute walk from the hotel with a few places to grab a taco or hot chocolate from a local vendor and practice your Spanish on a local. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms are pretty standard for an economy hotel, comfortable yet efficient. If you're looking to save money and a place to park overnight that won't break the budget, this is a good option. I'd stay again if I needed to be located close to downtown.

The staff was very helpful. It had an OK pool, quite good breakfast which is included in the price. Good for the price.

This hotel was really wonderful! It exceeded all out expectations; this really deserves to be a three or four star hotel.
