Playcard Environmental

Playcard Environmental Education Center is an excellent place for children to learn about nature, the environment, and the connection people have to the earth. Playcard offers interesting programs in natural history, wildlife identification, team-building/leadership, and overnight camp-outs for pre-k - 12th grade students. Playcard beleives that all children have the right to learn hands-on from nature how to respect the balance between people and the natural world in fun and engaging ways. Playcard has a classroom building with wildlife museum, 2.5 miles of nature trails with plant and animal identification markers, a full-size Native American tipi village, long house, log cabin, and working pull-ferry system. Community Open Houses are held throughout the school year culminating in SwampFest the first Saturday in November that is open to the public with free admission. Cost of day trips is $2 per child and any school or community group can attend. Call now to register!
