          Recreation Park 18, otherwise known as "Big Rec Golf Course," is a classic Billy Bell-designed Long Beach golf course layout and is one of the oldest and most popular courses in Southern California, originally designed back in 1910. Recreation Park's clubhouse is a historical landmark nestled in the trees among beautiful rolling hills. Recreation Park 18 features a beautiful 18-hole, 6,405-yard layout with rolling terrain and various types of trees lining the fairways, and with seasoned golf professionals available for instruction and an expansive practice facility open daily, Big Rec Golf Course offers everything you need for a fantastic day of golf.

        Recreation Park Golf Course, located in Long Beach, Calif., is an 18-hole golf course designed by architect William F. Bell. It offers more than 6,400 yards of golf, par 72, with a handicap of 8. In addition, the course offers a putting green, a chipping area and a lighted driving range. The club offers various amenities, such as a pro shop, as well as food and beverage services. It plans a full membership of up to 750 individuals. There is a concession in fees for local members, as well as senior citizens. Members have to file an application for playing in a tournament.
