Serving Chicagoland since Sam Berman first began selling furniture door-to-door in 1912, RoomPlace continues to succeed in Chicago's highly competitive furniture market by offering the value conscious consumer excellent service and selection at affordable prices. RoomPlace currently operates 15 stores in Chicagoland. Showrooms are conveniently located with three stores in metropolitan Chicago, 11 in suburban Chicago and the newest location in Merrillville, Ind. It vast selection of furniture is available via its online catalog or by visiting one it its showroom locations. RoomPlace designers have worked to design showrooms that create a retail environment unique and inviting to today's furniture customer. One-of-a-kind designs such as America's Home, a 3,500 square foot fully furnished house built inside of the Lombard showroom, create an environment unlike those found in traditional furniture retailers.
