I am one of the tech's that worked in the house, these people were trying to scam the company for free work. The house was disgusting to work in as there was cat feces and urine everywhere, so bad that we couldn't breath because the ammonia smell burned our lungs. The windows were done and looked great, they were a sun porch completely full of windows. They had such a thick buildup of nicotine tar, that they were near impossible to get streak free.

They claimed we were late from oversleeping, but we were at another customers house finishing up, as they had the late morning appointment slot.

The homeowner wasn't happy with the windows, so I offered to do something else in place of the windows for her Groupon. She wanted 2 accent walls primed so her friend could paint them. I agreed for a later date.

We came and did exactly as instructed by priming both accent walls perfectly. She came home as we were packing up and said that she left a note in the kitchen (no where near us), that she changed her mind and wanted the accent wall primed and whole room painted. Keep in mind, her Groupon was for 1 hour of labor... I declined and said I fulfilled our bargain, and that we had to leave because it was almost 4 on Friday.

Before we even got back to the shop, the homeowners daughter went straight to the Internet on several sites and bashed our work, and never called us. Said we spilled paint and did poor work. We use tarps, carefully cut edges in, and do excellent work. We one coat primed a bright red wall with the homeowners cheap primer, so she also said we did bad work because she could barely still see the red... the primer coat is to drown the red so the new color covers better. I couldn't explain that to her. She wanted us to buy a new carpet (the one filled with cat fece stains), conveniently...

I just wanted to give my side of the story, because I do high quality work, and I don't appreciate being cut down.

Originally purchased this service through Groupon, I have since been refunded. The original handyman came to clean windows, after three hours, they had not completed one room. I stopped the cleaning and instead asked them to come back to prime a bedroom. I had showed them two bedrooms, but decided to only prime one. The handyman was scheduled to come at 1pm, when they didn't show up, my daughter called and was informed the handyman had overslept and he would be there 'in a couple hours'. Finally he showed up at 2:50pm, ignored the note that was left for him on the counter and proceeded to prime both bedroom walls. The prime job was sub-par at best. He informed me that he typically ends his day at 3:30 and left not long after. Upon inspection of the bedroom, the handyman did not use a tarp or tape. He spilled a large quantity of primer on the carpeting and did not try to clean it up. There is also paint splattered all over the baseboard. I emailed Bees Knees to complain and after not hearing back, I called to follow up. I was rudely informed that they were following up with the handyman to see what he had to say. I told them that the carpeting was destroyed and tried to suggest they would come to fix it, but I would never let this company back into my home. I said, they could reimburse for the cost of the carpet cleaning and the company said 'they wouldn't just pay for anyone to fix it' and I could send them quotes. I have since been informed by carpet cleaners that it may be impossible to have the primer removed.
