Novant Health Lakeside Primary Care - Locust

After trying every primary care doctor in Stanly county, I finally found a competent doctor in Dr. Vargas. He is kind, caring, listens, takes time to talk to you, and wow, knows his stuff! He knew of the diabetic study I was on and none of the others did. He keeps up on current advances. His staff is also better than the others. I had to wait 3-6 weeks for insurance forms to be filled out, and they often have them back in less than two.

He thinks outside of the box. Does his homework, and even impressed my sister, who is a nurse who has worked with some of the best doctors in the state.
