General Info: United Family Services is a nonprofit organization that provides support services and emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence. It operates a substance abuse peer support group that provides counseling services to people who use drugs. The organization additionally offers an electronic monitoring program for juvenile and adult offenders who are at risk of re-offending and require home detention. United Family Services also provides parenting education that assists parents in learning healthy coping strategies for dealing with family conflicts. It offers specialized aftercare to those who are identified by the Arkansas Division of Youth Services to be in need of intensive wraparound services, such as sex offender and psychiatric treatment. In addition, the organization provides individual, group and family therapy services. United Family Services maintains a presence in Little Rock, Ark.
