hi,

I had my hair braided last week by Eva. I have never seen braids as good as this. She is real good. I just love it. She is very ponctual, her shop is clean and well kept.

If you want fo get your hair beaided, higher quality in little rock, go to Eva's shop.

Thank you so much Eva

Overall
Eva Hair Braids

Being from Memphis, I routinely travel back there to have my hair braided. On this unfortunate occasion, I decided to stay in Little Rock and visit a new place I saw listed (mistake). I thought this would be a decent place to have my hair braided with it being out in West Little Rock. On the positive, they were very punctual. The shop itself seemed clean and well kept. That's all the nice things I have to say. First, they were unhappy that I had chosen hair that was 16 inches in length and were trying to get me to buy some very cheap looking 18 inch hair for 30 dollars a pack from their shop. I buy only Beverly Johnson. I've never had a problem with that length of hair before and I refused to buy any hair from them. The prices for the braids were reasonable, or so I thought until she explained further after my hair had been badly braided (I'll get back to that in a minute). I paid $ 160.00 up front for my braids. I believe the prices ranged from 160 to 220. The stylist doing my hair was speedy, but too fast for my liking. I thought that she was doing a sloppy job and forsaking quality for time. After she finished, I tried looking at my hair in the mirror but the lighting was bad and I could not see the back. Not feeling entirely confident, I drove straight to my Aunt’s house for her reaction. When she opened the door, her entire face changed. I knew it must have looked terrible. The braids were halfway done and she had not braided the ends of my natural hair inside of the braids. When you pulled them into a pony tail, there were sprigs of hair sticking out of the sides. I looked like I had a bush on top of my head. In all my years of wearing braids, I have never seen anything as bad as this. I have only had quality micro braids from Memphis. This was an atrocity. I drove back to the shop to speak directly to the owner. She tried to tell me that if you wanted all your natural hair braided into the braids you have to tell them ahead of time. WHAT!? I have never heard such bullcrap. I finally told her that I had had enough of her stupid explanations and in my profession as a physician this would be considered to be a half assed job and that this did NOT look professional. Only then, did her attitude changed when she found out what I did for a living. She had the stylist who did the damage to take them down from the knot and rebraid them correctly. This cost me an additional $60.00 and several more hours of my Saturday. The end result was much better but for the total price I paid, I could have gotten micros so small in Memphis that you couldn’t tell they were braids. Unfortunately, I was too mad to take pictures of the braids to post. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. Find a higher quality place in Little Rock or make the drive to Memphis. I will never have my braids done in this city again!!!

I am from Georgia and I just h...

I am from Georgia and I just happened to stop by this boutique. The staff was exceptionally helpful - especially a gentleman by the name of Jonathan. He was very well informed and helped me find the perfect outfit! I was meeting my in-laws to be for the first time and I was very nervous. He was friendly, helpful and new fashion very well. I especially liked that he was honest and forthright. He didn't try to simply sell me something as others might. I will definitely be back again next time I am in town.
