I would NEVER recommend this Doctor. I went to him for a sinus infection because my doctor couldn't get me in. WORST mistake ever. The medicine he prescribed me was something I ended up being allergic to. When I called his office when I started to experience a reaction, I was given a run around and told that the doctors are in a clinic right now and can't speak with me. I was transferred to a voicemail. That was in the morning. I didn't get a call back, so I called again later that day. Was given the voicemail, even after I explained what was going on. I ended up going to see my regular doctor and having to pay an extra co-pay. Dr. Barrow's office finally called me TWO days later to check-in. I will NEVER go to them again and tell others to beware. Plus Dr. Barrow tried to give me at least 3 other medicines that I didn't really need. I assume that he gets a kick back.

Ending in mal-practice lawsuit

I came in for a thyroid check, just in case, post-pregnancy. Next thing I know dr. Barrow bullies me in the patient office, convinces me I need to be in antidepressants (for having a father who sexually abused me) then I'm in ER visits due to an adverse reaction to the first antidepressant, sucked into the mental health field where I get sexually assaulted.

Why did I get on antidepressants? Because I thought I could trust my doctor's office. Post-pregnancy hormones.

I have told everyone I love Do...

I have told everyone I love Doc Rob. He's been my PCP for many years and I love the fact that he doesn't take appointments. He does walk-ins. I don't know of any other doctor in this city that does that. Through the years he has sent me to various specialists for those things that come with age and I've always liked his choices. Like him, they are physicians who will discuss what is going on in my body and why and how to fix something that is wrong. Besides that, I'm a SciFi person and he is a SciFi author. We just clicked the first time I went to his office. He's been the best doctor I've ever had. 10 years and counting.

Love this place

I have been going to Dr. Angela Barrow for 12 years. She is patient and kind and listens intently to any issues you may have. She takes a conservative approach to finding solutions to your problems, but will work hard to get the exact right solution. (For instance, she doesn't push the most expensive scripts on you but will resort to that if other meds do not work for you.) She and her staff are like family to me. They've been with me through some very tough times. She works in tandem with her husband (Dr. Rob Barrow) who is a medical and a juris doctor. Right now they also have a nurse practitioner helping out, and she's great as well. In the 12 years of going to the office several times per year, I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes. Average time is 15 minutes. I've just had an all-around good experience and would recommend this office for anyone shopping for doctors... especially women.

NOT SO WELL!

WELL MY WIFE AND I DECIDED TO GIVE THE DR. BARROWS (MR.& MRS.) A TRY AFTER READING THE POSITIVE REVIEW. SOMETHING MUST HAVE CHANGED SINCE THEN BECAUSE NOW WHEN YOU CALL FOR TEST RESULTS OR TO SPEAK WITH THE DOCTOR ABOUT A SERIOUS MATTER, YOU GET PUT ON HOLD AND EVENTUALLY SENT TO VOICEMAIL. SO THEREFORE WE WILL BE SEEKING ANOTHER DOCTOR FOR FUTURE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND AT THIS TIME I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO A FRIEND!
