The engineers of AFCO Steel are registered to work in more than 35 states. The company produces fabricated structural steel, miscellaneous steel, steel stairs and railings, floor plates and bridge beams and girders. The American Institute of Steel Construction certifies the company to produce fabricated structural steel for conventional steel structures, complex steel building structures, simple steel bridges and major steel bridges with fracture critical, sophisticated paint endorsements and fracture critical endorsements. AFCO Steel is affiliated with W&W Steel. Production from W&W Steel includes fabricated structural steel, miscellaneous steel, steel stairs and railings and provides design, erection and engineering services. The American Institute of Steel Construction and the American Welding Society are among the organizations certifying the company. AFCO Steel began in 1945.
