        Michael Gold, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist in Long Island, NY, who offers comprehensive treatments to patients in the greater New York City area. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York and then attended Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. He is an active member in the local ophthalmology community teaching and assisting in surgical training at the Northwell Health Ophthalmology Residency Program.         One of my favorite doctors and I have many.

        I’ve been a patient of Dr Gold for at least 30 years, if not more. He is very professional and kind. Explains everything to me in words I can understand. I will continue to see him yearly until he either retires or I’m gone from this world.

        Office experience quick and efficient.

        Experience with Dr. Gold was professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing to me, and explained everything I needed to know about my eyesight. Told me to come back in six months for another check up.

        My experience as a patient with Dr. Gold has always been pleasant and positive. One of my main reasons for staying as a patient is because he would always ask you if you have any questions, which I think is good for doctors to ask of their patients. What I like is that if you have a question, he answers it in a clear and understandable manner. He is very knowledgeable.He took great care of me when I had an injury to my eye and he is great with my son, who has special needs.
