        Dr. Jack Zuckerman, PT, DPT, Cert. DN , graduated from Long Island University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. Jack received his undergraduate bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Brooklyn College in 2008.Since graduating, he has pursued many post-graduate and continued education training including multiple functional manual therapy courses with the Institute of Physical Art, Maitland, certifications in kinesiotaping (RockTape), Spinal Manipulation Institute and others. Jack is certified in Dry Needling (Cert. DN) from the Spinal Manipulation Institute.Jack has experience in a wide variety of settings from homecare with Visiting Nurse Service of NY to orthopedic settings such as NYU Hospital for Joint Disease and various orthopedic outpatient clinics. Furthermore, he specializes in injury prevention, manual therapy, performance-based Orthopedic Sports medicine, functional mobility and strength and conditioning. Jacks belief is that the patient has to be an active participant in the rehabilitation process to successfully achieve Total Recovery.Jack is also an adjunct professor at William Patterson University teaching anatomy and physiology. He is always pursuing seminars and other continuing education courses to stay with the most current evidence based practice.

        A great experience at TRPT

        I came to Dr. Z after a wrist injury from dance and I was in a brace for about 2-3 months. Treatment was intense but Dr. Z made it fun. After 3 months of PT with Dr. Z, yesterday for one of my dance classes we had a push up competition and I was able to participate when about a little more than a month ago, I wasn't able to put any weight on my wrist. Dr. Z is awesome and I had a great experience at Total Recovery PT.

        Experience with Total Recovery has been excellent

        My experience over approximately 3 years has been uniformly positive and helpful. The office is fully equipped and it's a pleasant atmosphere. The people are attentive and friendly.

        Total Recovery offers PT that is tailored to each patient's issue. its not a cookie cutter place where the therapist works with you for a total of 5 min and then you are off on your own to do exercises. Jack works with each patient individually even when doing exercises.

        Dr. Jack Zuckerman takes a whole body approach rather than just looking at one aspect of health. I have learned a lot about body mechanics and how muscles work together - or not. He also has a pleasant personality that makes even tough workouts okay. I feel like he's a caring, intelligent practictioner.

        Menisci Rehab

        I have been coming to Dr Zuckerman twice a week for physical therapy to rehab my knee after surgery. He customized a program specific to my needs to build up muscle and stabilize my Knee. I highly recommend him for PT.
