Taco Bell

Make sure you go inside and watch them make your food. Every time I go through the drive through I get stale tacos.

My wife and I took our two children, ages 11 and 6, to the restaurant after a long day at Six Flags. We ordered our food at 9:54pm. We weren't given any indication that they would be closing the dining area anytime soon. Were are from out of town and our Taco Bell's stay open late. Isn't that their slogan? Finally, at 10:12 we received our order and as we were opening the wrappers a man came out and told us we had to leave. Another customer sitting at the table in front of us spoke up and said that it was wrong of them to force people to leave the restaurant while in the middle of eating. Especially since it was them (Taco Bell) that took so long to prepare the food that we had been waiting on in the first place. The man who told, not asked us, but told us to leave got an attitude with the other customer and she asked to speak to the manager. To which he replied, in a very aggressive tone, "I AM the manager" so she asked to speak to the general manager. To which he again replied "I AM the general manager" and then after asking for his supervisor's name and number he supplied this to her in writing and held the door open kicking us all out. My wife spoke up and told the manager that his employee never told us that we didn't have time to eat in the restaurant and he then got smart with my wife telling her that wasn't his problem. My wife responded telling him that is certainly IS his problem since he's the manager and he is in charge of his employees. So after finally giving in my wife and two children were forced to eat their food sitting in the parking lot at 10:15pm. I saw this as very unprofessional and disrespectful. I am aware now that the store was closing at 10:00pm but we not told at the time we ordered our food that we would be forced to leave. Had we been told this, we would've gladly gone somewhere else. I'm fine with the food taking a few minutes to be prepared. I'm even okay with the fact that two of our four items we ordered were incorrect. I'm okay with the fact that the drinking fountain only had Nestea and Pepsi because all the other drinks were out of order. I am not okay with the way the manager treated my family and the other families that were there. He even made a man WALK through the drive through...A man was coming in to order and the manager told him the store was closing he'd have to use the drive through and the man responded telling him that he didn't have a car, that he had walked to the store. So the manager told him "Well you can WALK through the drive through then". We finished our meals and headed back home but I have reported this "Manager" to Taco Bell. My recommendation would be never to visit this location off of exit 44 in Lithia Springs, Georgia. However, if you do just be aware that the management is (or was to us at least) very testy and disrespectful. Maybe your visit will be better than ours.
