I am so sad to see all these negative reviews about this builder. My husband and I are very impressed with the work and craftsmanship Rob and his team put into their homes. We are in the process of building our home with them and everybody has been kind and so helpful along the way! I would choose Prarie Home Builders over and over again.

Worst experience. My father is a contractor and we were upfront about this. We had nothing but problems from the very beginning starting with them not submitting our plans to the city due to the fact we wanted to use Union Bank as our loan. The owner was our main point of contact and I would ask him things over and over again to make sure everything was set. Later only to find out that what we had discussed had not happened. We were literally told "o I don't pay attention to that stuff" this continued though out the build. Every time my father found an issue we were told "it was fine and not an issue at all". The owner was nothing but disrespectful to us and their customer service was the worst I have ever experienced which lasted through the walk through. I could go on and on. Please don't chose this builder!! We were luckily in the fact that we had my dad who was able to fix most of the mistakes we encountered!

Awful experience. They ruined my lawn and after months and months of trying to call and e-mail them, I finally had to spend time and money to fix their mistake. I would not trust this company to do any work for my family in the future.

We had nothing but problems with Prairie Homes Builders. Craftsmenship, customer service, respect...these are all foreign concepts to them. There were so many issues that I'm sure we didn't even find them all. But we will once things start breaking and falling apart.

Buyer BEWARE. Shotty work, nonexistent customer service.

Do not buy a home from Prairie Homes! They take no responsibility for the product they build. We bought a new house from them in 2007. Since then, we have spent the past 10 months fighting with them to fulfill their home warranty. Chunks of carpet is coming up in the living room, the kitchen floor has a defect right in the middle of the floor, paint is peeling from the outside trim of the house, the siding trim is bubbling, etc...

They refuse to fix any of the problems and pass the blame onto someone else, saying "we no longer work with that company". The do not return phone calls, they have not fixed 1 thing on any of our walk-though lists, and they won't even give you a straight answer as to why. This company's inability to accept responsibility is laughable. I do not recommend Prairie Homes to anyone! Stay far far away!
