It also features an activity center, whirlpool room and television area. In addition, The Legacy operates a book club. The community organizes Bible study classes, as well as nail and bowling training programs. It also maintains choral and pitch groups. The Legacy is a part of Legacy Retirement Communities, which offers a variety of social, cultural and recreational activities for senior citizens. The parent organization hosts local theater trips and shopping excursions. It additionally provides card playing and education opportunities
