I hired Jackson Well Drilling to drill a well on my property.
Well was drilled and operated properly for about 2 1/2 years until a electrical short caused the wiring to melt inside the pump house which was not their fault as far as I can tell.
However upon inspection the the supply line had been installed with a cheap plastic elbow at the top of the well cap and it had broken off after becoming brittle and allowed the entire pipe, pump and wiring to fall to the bottom of the well.
I called them repeatedly for more months to come and repair the well, I expected to have to pay for it because of the fire, but I was given one excuse after the other. They would come, they had come and the ground was to wet, they were too busy etc.
Finally I gave up and called someone else.
The repair people were really shocked to find that the well was installed with a cheap plastic elbow (that should always be galvanized steel) and the wiring (from the pump to the contacts) was at least one size to small for the depth of the well.
Do yourself a favor and do not use this company.
I have had to have the pump fished out and replaced (because it was damaged when it fell to the bottom of the well) new wiring installed which was expense and the well was only a couple of years old.
