        I needed to have the original pedestal tub in my 100 year old house reglazed. This business was recommended to me by an architect. Someone from the company came to my home to give me an estimate and explained to me that the tub would be taken out of my house in three pieces. The tub was scheduled to be picked up on a Thursday morning; however, someone called on Wednesday evening to see if they could pick up the tub since they were in the area. I wasn't home, but told them where a key was and cautioned them to be very careful on the stairway, both in terms of potential damage to my home and danger to them. A day or so later, I was going upstairs and found extensive damage to the steps, newel posts, and landing, all of which are original to my home and cannot be replaced. I immediately called the business and spoke with one of the owners. Rather than apologize, she was rude and defensive. We scheduled a time for both owners to come to view the damage. When they came, they were incredibly rude. I had to escort them outside my home and then go back inside to escape their harassment. They did pay to have the damage repaired (over $1700), but neither has ever apologized for what their employees did to my home. I later found out that the employees who picked up the tub did not have the tools they needed to take the tub apart. Rather than leave and come back the following day with the correct tools, they dragged the intact tub down the steps, thus doing all the damage they did. I would not recommend these people; they are unpleasant to work with to say the least. I have told the architect who recommended them what happened; she will no longer recommend them to anyone and has warned every other architect in the area against using this company.
