The Lewiston Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that is responsible for fire suppression, prevention and investigation, emergency medical service, building inspections, hazardous material spills and fire apparatus maintenance. It is comprised of more than 65 full- and part-time staff members who function as risk managers, moving people, tools and equipment around to complete the multiple operations of the department. The fire department maintains administration, suppression, emergency medical services and prevention divisions. With various stations in Lewiston, Idaho, the Lewiston Fire Department offers services in Asotin, Asotin County, Clarkston, Colton, Nez Perce County, Uniontown and Whitman counties in Idaho.
