You won't find fancy taco bell made up mexican food here... the fare is pretty basic. You pick a medium (burrito, taco, torta etc.) then pick a meat (asada, al pastor, pollo etc.). The carnitas are really hit or miss, sometimes they're a bit too greasy for my taste, and sometimes they're perfect. The one thing that ALWAYS hits the spot in this place are the al pastor tacos. Packed with flavor, ANYTHING al pastor will cure your craving for absolutely tasty mexican food. They also have pretty good cevice and other seafood items. Their food is cheap, and their tacos are amazing. They also have a seemingly limitless supply of fresh horchata, it makes a great pairing with mildly spicy tasty tacos.

Almost every weekend my husband and I make it to Chubby's for breakfast. Their menu is a tad basic, but you can't beat their diner-style food quality. Their hashbrowns are always crispy on the outside and steamy on the inside. I always order their chantilly lace french toast, thick yet fluffy, crispy outside, melt in your mouth inside. The staff is awesome, they're always busy but I never see my coffee cup go dry. A word of caution however, if you don't want anything covered in butter, make sure you say so. The toast is heavily buttered and their french toast and pancakes always come with an oversized dallop of butter on top. We've eaten lunch at Chubby's before, although their sandwiches are acceptable, they're nothing compared to their breakfast foods... which by the way are normally only served until about noon.

They were pretty busy but pretty much as soon as I walked in the skinny guy said he would be with me in a second. He came out from behind the desk and just started talking to me like he had known me for years. He took copies of what they needed and while I was filling out the Application he was putting stuff in his computer. It only took like 6 or 7 min from the time I finished the application untill I walked out. And while stuff was printing out he continued to talk small talk with me like he had known me for a while, pretty strange but Real Cool Service.

I have had loans with the other 2 places in Lemoore but this place is the one I would tell people to go to.
