Leesburg IGA was opened in 2004 by Steve Jenkins. With over 43 years of experience in the grocery business Jenkins says Leesburg, Georiga is the perfect place to own a business. "We are proud to be a part of the South Georgia market, you can't find better customers than right here in Leesburg, " says Jenkins. Steven Jenkins is joined in the business by his son Jason who works in the store's meat department. Day to day operation of the store is tasked to Todd Whigham. It doesn't take long when talking to him to realize that his customers come first. Whigham has been working in the grocery business since he was 16 years old. He realizes to be successful in the grocery business you have to find your store's niche and perfect it. Whigham started a smoked meat catering service in the grocery store. "A catering business isn't something you find down the road at our competition, we are constantly looking for ways to stand out, " says Whigham. Todd is joined at Leesburg IGA by his wife Brenda who works as a manager.
