Great Energy Rebate Energy Service

I want to share the story one of the worse experiences you might have with unknown businesses who attract you with bright advertisement. I came across this “great energy rebate” company when watching the list of NY electricity suppliers, and decided to switch to them because their web page looked pretty convincing. Not only did they promise to give some rebates for joining them, but also to save your money paid for consuming kilowatts. Well, in my first bill handled by this deceiving company, I saw that even after 7% discount that I received for switching to ESCO, I had to pay more than I paid for the previous monthly bill by Con Edison, when I got considerably less kilowatts. Their cost for a kilowatt is higher than Con Edison’s, but they conceal it by publishing the info that they will save your money. I immediately switched back to Con Edison. In a few days, I suddenly received a strange call. A person was telling me that he was “from Con Edison” and asking me why I switched back, “is it some mistake, or what?” Or what!!! After I asked him specifically where he was calling from, he was from Con Edison or the supplier, he reluctantly said, “the supplier”. I told him that I switched back because of their high prices that I saw in my bill. Then, he just hung up on me not even saying sorry for interrupting my day. I have decided to post my opinion about them with hope that my readers will be aware of possible scam expected from this “great energy rebate”.
