Health Care Access

My husband passed away from lung cancer a few weeks back and I missed two appointments. The second one I was at the office for grief counsling and Lori heard me say something regarding my appointment the next day. Rather then correct me she told the woman that orders the medications not to order my blood pressure medicine because they wouldn't be seeing me again. By the time I did get my blood pressure medicine I was at stage 3 kidney disease. I had missed an appointment to a specialist that they had refered me to while my husband was dying of lung cancer. When I realized my oversite I immediately sent him a letter apologizing. One winter I was having trouble getting well and Lori had the nerve to throw up her arms and say, "Why me"? I was very poorly treated by her and I am so very glad to hear she is not there anymore. I feel for the office she is in now..Her new patients don't stand a chance.
