Nasty and horrible customer service and food, crabs ���� horrible. Never again. Very rude employees and owner
This is the absolute best location. The food is fantastic. I have tried other locations but this one is the best . All of the food is wonderful and the prices are great ��������
I dined at Bottom of the Bay Seafood on Friday, August 1, 2014. I ordered a dozen crabs and a pound of shrimp. When the server Ronda delivered my food to my table, I noticed a horrible smell coming from the crabs. I asked the server if the crabs were fresh because this restaurant is known for selling reheated crabs that are as much as 2 weeks old. She went to the back to talk to the cook. A few minutes later, she returned to my table and said they were fresh. I reluctantly took her at her word and attempted to eat the crabs. Each crab I opened smelled of a strong spoiled ammonia smell. They smelled so bad, I couldn't even eat them. I went and got my server Ronda and told her I wanted to cancel my order. She said she had to go speak to her manager. She returned to the table, stating there wasn't a manager on duty and refused to cancel my order. Out of disappointment, I promptly asked for my check. When I received my check, the total was $98.29 food total, $5.89 tax, and $14.74 gratuity making the check total $118.92. I protested that the gratuity should be removed due to poor service, the servers rude attitude, and the fact I didn't eat the food because it was not edible. The server began to argue with me stating she would call the police if I didn't pay the entire check. As i was standing at the dining room cash register, I heard the server calling me profane names like this cheap mother f***er wants a free meal and doesn't want to pay gratuity. She went onto complain to customers who were sitting in the bar area that "cheap, lazy mother fu**ers" like me should stay home and eat if they don't want to pay. This restaurant should be investigated for selling such poor, spoiled food. The few bites I did take of one of the crabs caused me to vomit and I had diarrhea for days. I was also unable to eat for three days after this horrific dining experience. This was the worst dining experience ever. Dine at your own risk!!!
5/18/13 MY PARTY WAS ABOUT 25 WANTED TO CELEBRATE MY ELDEST BROTHER RETIREMENT, I CALLED AHEAD TO MAKE THEM AWARE MANAGEMENT SAID THAT IT WOULD BE ALRIGHT, BUT THEY MIGHT HAVE TO PUT SOME IN BOOTHS NEAR TABLE SETUP. I ARRIVED AROUND 3:40 PM & MY COUSINS WAS THERE AT 3:30 PM I TALKED TO HOTESS TINA TOLD HER MY PARTY SIZE & NAME HOWEVER, SHE WAS ATEMPTING TO TRAIN A NEW EMPLOYEE. ABOUT 4:15 PM THE MAJORITY OF MY PARTY ARRIVED (NOW I WAS SITTING IN FRONT OF THE HOSTESS DESK) I ASKED HER HOW LONG WOULD IT BE & SHE SAID WE WERE NOT IN THE SYSTEM I ASKED WHY? SHE DIDN'T HAVE AN ANSWER SO I SAID IT COULD ONLY BE THAT YOU FORGOT OR DIDN'T PUT ME IN THE SYSTEM. SHE MANAGED TO PUT ME IN THE SYSTEM, BUT SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME A BUZZER, SO I ASKED FOR ONE! MY BROTHER SAID HE WOULD HOLD THE BUZZER & HE SET IT DOWN ON THE HOSTESS DESK & SHE GRABBED IT BACK...BY NOW IT'S ALMOST 5:30 PM! THE PLACE WE WERE WAITING FOR WAS A GROUP THAT HAD SAT DOWN AT 1:30 PM (I KNOW I EAT KIND OF SLOW ,BUT I HAVE NEVER TAKEN 4 HRS TO EAT A MEAL)! A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WALKED OUT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT! I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM BECAUSE MY HUBBY & I ARE LATE EATERS & COMING A HOUR OR SO BEFORE THEY CLOSE IS THE BEST TIME NO WAITING & YOU CAN SIT ANYWERE I WILL ONLY GO BACK TO RED LOBOSTER IS LATE NIGHT!!!
