Cakes Plus

I am a wedding planner and I will NEVER return here let alone refer someone. I had bought another cake from here before (about 4 months ago) and I just picked one from the display case. This time I came in to order a cake and it was the WORST experience I have ever had! I wanted a "party hat" cake for a co workers birthday party at work. I told the lady helping me that I would need it for the following Monday (I came in on Friday). She acted like it was no problem. Then I proceeded to order my cake, instead of ruffles around the bottom of the party hat I wanted flowers. What I didn't know was that I was asking them to move Heaven and Earth. She acted like it was a HUGE deal to replace the ruffles with 3 or 4 flowers! Finally the decorator was called out and she said she'd get the flowers SOMEWHERE on the cake...why it couldn't be across the bottom was never answered. Then I asked for a purple and white airbrush. Nothing fancy. They had other airbrushed cakes in the display! But of course that was a big deal too! After all that I was told that I couldn't pick it up on Monday, had to come Saturday (yes, the next day). That was fine with me if they were going to do it in a day....whatever. So I paid and left. I didn't even get on the interstate good before I got a phone call telling me they had CANCELED my order because I can't order after Thursday at noon! The ENTIRE work staff watched her take my order and didn't say a word! One worker even jumped in to suggest that she make the order for the Saturday instead of that Monday when I originally ordered it. She couldn't have said something sooner? I will never return.

I would love to have you make all my birthday cakes from now on.
