Called Justine's Thursday to see what they charge for Faux Loc Extentions, was told one price on the phone. Went to Justine's today August 17th had Faux Locs done paid a different price as quoted on phone. they set their prices as they go. Terrible job was not satisfied at all. The person who did my hair was very pleasant and nice. But, she did no justice to my hair, she left a lot of my hair out, I mentioned that and her response was "oh that's your hair" duh I already knew that. That's why I was telling her. The other workers were speaking in their language and they kept looking at me, I didn't feel comfortable. Wish I had not gone there. Do not go here to get your hair done. Never thought I would write any type of review but, I'm so disgusted and I am taking my hair out tonight. A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was smooth making an appointment just yesterday evening. Got an appointment for this morning early and when I got there my wait may have been 5-10 minutes. My braider did a fabulous job and my braids look great. I'm new to the area and may have found a permanent place to get my hairs braided. They greet you when coming through the door, try to understand exactly what you want and perform great execution. Thanks!
I was not very happy wth my senegalese twists I was going on vacation n I had never had my hair braided After they were done I didn't really like itWhen I called on the phone they quoted me 140 but when I was fine they said it was 180 I didn't have it Then when I got home 2 days later 2 braids fell out It was 5 days before I left for my trip n I called n asked them to fix it When I went I had to wait 40 minute for them to fix 2 braids n they know I was coming
The customer service is so poor. I walked in and asked if they did locks. Two of the ladies whispered something to each other and laughed while staring at me. The lady doing my hair had no clue; she wanted to twist my hair before washing. I told her that she has to wash locks before re-twisting, to remove build up. She washed my hair clumsily, spilling so much water on me. She told me that she would charge an extra $10 after she had shampooed my hair(when it was too late to say anything). She pulled my hair so hard while twisting, while she had a loud conversation in my ear (her spit landing on me) with her colleague who was at the other end of the room. She also used the wrong product. Gel and locks should not mix. When she was done, I had gel all over my forehead. She would not clean me up. I asked for a towel to clean and she just stared at me. I am still wondering why I stayed there. I may have felt intimidated by their icy stares.
I found this place after searching online. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day. I got crochet Havana twists and after only 3 days (Sunday-Wednesday) a twist fell out on my bathroom sink. I had an early morning flight to Florida the next day and couldn't not go to them to fix it. I wish I had. Before returning to Maryland 2 more twists fell out intact. The braiding that was done was shot; I should have known something was wrong when the stylist next to mine said something to her and my stylist undid and redid the braiding she was doing throughout the time I was in her chair. The day I returned I called the shop to inform them of what happened to my hair and all I got was the run around. I spoke to someone who said they weren't Grace but was Grace, who told me she will not give a refund. She offered to discount a future style I explained I did not want. She continued to rant about her religion and her 16 years in the business. WASTE OF TIME. Go somewhere you can trust.
Went once to take my daughter and NEVER went back. The braids were ok. I've definitely had better but what I couldn't get pass were the ROACHES crawling around like they were apart of the family. Up the walls, on the sofa, across the floor it was terrible. I put my purse in the trunk of my car so I did not take those little bugs home with me. My husband dropped our daughter off and I came a little later, but if I had seen this before they started I would have left. A few days later her hair began to unravel so I took her back. I couldn't believe they put nail glue....not even hair glue but nail glue on the ends so it wouldn't unravel. They haven't seen me since.
I absolutely loved graces airbrushing and their wonderful service . The experience of getting my hair done there was everything but insipid . They were very nice and understanding . When they do your hair , it looks great and they Have very gentle hands . It doesn't hurt one bit .i have been coming to gracehairbraiding for over a year now and they have been great each and every time I came to get my hair done .
Tree braids lasted less than a week. This is ridiculous. I am apalled that a salon would charge $160 dollars for terrible work.
