With one of its locations in Lakewood, Wash., Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound offers a range of learning and growth opportunities. It provides more than 20 programs in the areas of education, environment, health, art, careers, leadership development, and alcohol, drug, pregnancy and gang prevention. The club offers various sports programs, including foosball, power prop and blow soccer. It also provides programs in drama, dance, fine arts and photography. The club offers various self-development programs that include discussion, role playing, assertiveness development, practicing resistance and refusal skills, and analyzing media and peer influence. In addition, Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound organizes several events, including birthday parties.
