Meadowbrook MHP

mobile home park is clean and lovely. We have a beautiful pool, pool room, large newly decorated club house and new shuffle board courts. People who are writing negative revues have a vendetta against management. 90% of population is happy with the park the other 10% wouldn't be happy no matter where they were.

Park is being sold.. Majority of homes are for sale. High lot rent. Management is terrible..

Very nice community.

I believe that integrity is the most prized character trait in any person, but particularly for someone who is a park owner and who affects the daily lives of everyone in their park. This park owner has zero integrity. He lives only to punish others for exercising their legal rights as homeowners in this park. The homeowners feel so strongly about the abuses of this park owner that they are suing him. The rents and fees are outrageous - higher than any comparable park in the area. I'm still trying to figure out what he uses the money for because it certainly hasn't been used for any improvements or sorely needed maintenance on the park property. The owner creates new rules and attempts to enforce rules that exist only in his mind solely for the sake of playing lord and dictator over all he surveys. He hired management that reflects his image - power hungry, lying, controlling and manipulative. This is a retirement community with some residents much older than others. The younger, more able-bodied help the older, yet the park owner has dictated that no one can mow another homeowner's lawn. If you love chaos and power struggles and have a strong desire to live at the whim of a tyrant, by all means, buy a place and retire in Meadowbrook. If you are seeking relaxation and peace; if you seek a park owner with a conscience and ethics, retire anywhere but in Meadowbrook.

This is a very laid back community. Nice people, very nice pool and homes for a value. Have met many friends and have been treated well.
