Dr. Anthony (Tony) Moon is a Family Medicine Physician who is passionate about lifestyle medicine and weight-loss medicine. He finds it important to listen to his patients to better understand and learn what is important to them. What is your patient care philosophy?In working with patients, I find it is important to first listen to what they want to share with me. Through meaningful conversations with a patient, I can begin to learn about what is important to them and am able to serve them better by working with them to create a wellness plan that works for their specific needs. What would you like people to know about you as a physician?I promise to always listen and learn, and my goal is to provide modern and personalized medicine to all my patients. When did you know you wanted to be a doctor?I determined that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine during my third year of college. What do you enjoy most about working with patients?Getting to know patients on a personal level and creating meaningful relationships with them is the best part of being a doctor. How does your work improve lives?When patients choose a primary care or family medicine physician, they are looking for someone to work with them on staying healthy and improving their health. What are some interesting facts about you?I love banana-flavored candy but hate bananas, and I have a huge weakness for chocolate chip cookies. I love dogs, scuba diving and working out. Would you like to share about your family? My wife is the most important person in my life, unless our dog Alex is wanting attention! What childhood memory do you have about visiting the doctor?Like many children, the best part of seeing the doctor was when I got my grape or watermelon dum-dum pops for the win!
