I have been going to 4 brothers for over 10 years. I introduced my new co-worker to them and she also started going to them every single week. They USED to have the best pizza anywhere around. However, we will now be going to Palm Springs Pizza. I always got sicilian slice but the last few times it was very flat and tasted like it wasnt cooked all the way. I asked the owner about it and he said because they have a big demand for that pizza they didn't "proof" it (whatever that means) I think they are not giving it enough time to rise and cook. My co-worker said her thin sliced pizza were also under cooked. Not only is their pizza not any good any more, they are so rude -- to customers and to their own co-workers. Sometimes it is hard to watch while I am waiting for my pizza. They just lost 2 loyal customers and they probably dont even care.
Tonight my girlfriend and I went to Four Brothers for dinner. I ordered the Shrimp Parm and I have had it there before and its good. This dinner comes with a small side order of pasta with tomato sauce. I asked to substitute the sauce for garlic and oil as I have done before and they have charged me a buck extra for the substitute. This time the waitress told me it would cost $2.50 extra for the garlic and oil. I looked at the menu and showed her that the full order of pasta with garlic and oil only cost 50 cents more then the pasta with tomato sauce. She said again that its going to cost $2.50 for the garlic and oil and with a bad attitude to boot! So I asked to speak to the owner whom I have met before. The owner came over and I asked him why are you charging me $2.50 more for garlic and oil on a side dish of pasta when its only 50 cents more for the garlic and oil on a full order of pasta! He told me that the waitress had given me the wrong price and it would now be $3.00 more for the garlic and oil not $2.50. I showed him the menu and asked him to reconsider charging me the now $3.00 extra for garlic and oil on the side of pasta that came with my dinner when its only 50 cents more on a full order of pasta. I told him that this does not make any sense at all and there is nothing on the menu showing any up charge for this at all! He then said that's what the price is and I could take it or leave it! After hearing that I got up, looked him straight in the eyes and told him that he just lost my business forever and that I would tell others about this horrible experience! He said that he didn't care. My girlfriend and I then walked out and went somewhere else to eat where we always get treated with friendliness and respect. All I have to say after this amazing show of terrible customer service from the waitress and owner of Four Brothers in Lake Worth is, if you value honesty and good customer service when eating out, don't waste your time going to Four Brothers restaurant because your not going to get it! PS. Tonight almost every table in the restaurant was dirty! Including my girlfriend and myself there was only one other table occupied in the entire place.
I moved to the area two years ago and Mamma Mia's has become my family's favorite restaurant! From grandparents to my own children as toddlers - when I say Mamma Mia - they light up! We love the bruschetta, salads, dinners, pizza, calzones and basically EVERYTHING! The sauce is SO good that we have to bring some home when we bring home leftovers because it makes the meal even better. I can not say enough good things about the food and the service! I highly recommend Mamma Mia's on Hypoloxo and Lyons to anyone reading this that wants QUALITY Italian Food!
I ordered a pepperoni bread from this restaurant and the man gave me the choice of 3, 6, 9, or 12 garlic rolls after I had asked for small order of, as well. I chose 3. When I picked up my food, I got 9 rolls, instead, that tasted as if they used vegetable oil instead of butter with a little bit of garlic chunks that could hardly be tasted. After I had gotten home, I cut the pepperoni bread in half, as I planned to share the rest with my kids the next day, only to find a grey hair cut from it that was stuck on my knife with cheese and sauce afterwards. I was done, I threw it out, disgusted. I'll never eat from there ever again.
Poor poor poor extremely poor service..on the phone and in person. As a business owner myself, we hold customer service near and dear to our hearts. So to see otherwise is just intolerable. These people were hostile on the phone, they're liars, and dirty. Out of convenience we patronize four losers because it's close by. The magnitude of disrespect is unimaginable. I called to inquire about prices and delivery. The guy was abrupt and hung up on me to later tell my co worker that he hung up because I didn't know what I wanted. The cleanliness is another issue. They handle food with their bare hands and not wash them, GET RID OF THE OLD GUY. THIS IS WHY I STOPPED EATING THERE YEARS AGO.
Ordered pizza from 4 losers last night...Leaving appt. to get refreshments, saw delivery guy of OUR pizza walking up to make delivery. I signed delivery receipt and addded tip, expecting this deiivery 'boy' to simply take it to the appt. as there were 4 others waiting for the delivery. My mistake, because once I signed and gave tip, delivery 'boy' apparently took off without dropping off our food. Once I got back from getting refreshments, our delivery never arrived even though I had signed for it just outside the apartment.....Congrats delivery 'BOY' , you just got away with $40 worth of food and cost your company thousands of dollars of business! We will now network your crime through all of Palm Beach County. Congrats, 4 Brothers, for cutting me and my wife off on the phone when we called to complain.......
Mama absolutely makes the best fresh pasta in the Palm Beaches! Her take home 'No Drama Mama' dinner kit is delicious and her gravy (made from San Marzano tomatoes) are 'to die for'. She's GREAT !!!!
I'M ONLY GIVING A STAR BECAUSE IT WON'T ALLOW ANYTHING LOWER!!! We're new to the area, just moved into the house and didn't want to cook. We called to order a pizza, delivery. We're 100% Italian so the pizza and the customer service are both of equal importance. We repeated our order not once, but 3 times to the girl on the phone, just to make sure she got it right. We ordered a large Supreme (or whatever they call it) well done, with extra sauce on top. What we got was a circle of soggy, doughy crust with clumps of raw onions and peppers on top of clumps of melted cheese, with hardly any sauce. The delivery driver was a trooper when we checked the pie and saw what he had brought us (not his fault) He was the only good part of this experience. We only consumed what we really didn't consider edible because we were tired and hungry. We called to speak to the girl that took the order and asked her if she had even written the order down and if she had, could the cooks read?? It was seriously disgusting. If you appreciate good Italian or even decent service, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! This was a fine example of sheer incompetence!
I am not sure why the two reviewers before had bad experiences but all my experiences have been great so far. Even the Palm Beach Post did an anonymous visit to Napolitano Cucina and gave it raving reviews about their service, food, price, atmosphere and reason to go there. They were especially impressed with the Lobster Ravioli. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/entertainment/lobster-ravioli-outstanding-at-napolitano-cucina/nYGsN/. Copy and past the link into your browser to read!I love Napolitano!
Don't bother! Ordered a pizza and chicken wings to watch the game Saturday. Three out of four guys got sick ......called manager and he was argumentative?
