My family has been camping on Lake Havasu for many years. This year we decided to rent a South Bay Tri – toon from Wet Monkey.... We were not disappointed! They even gave a tube with the boat! Thank you Wet Monkey staff for my our annual camping trip the best one yet! We are already planning for next year, and Wet Monkey will be seeing us again! They made us feel like Family.

I rented the Yamaha AR230 twin engine jet boat! It was Awesome! I was pleased to see the boat did not look like a “rental” boat. Well maintained inside and our side, it showed that Wet Monkey takes pride in their boats and customer service.

This is our 3 year renting from Wet Monkey...never disappointed with their customer service or their boats! Lost one of their new ski’s and of course I paid for it. I mentioned that it might be at my house. Debra spoke up and stated if you find it, bring it back and Wet Monkey will credit your card back.....I appreciated that... see you next year Wet Monkey!

The Wet Monkey rented my family two Yamaha VX110 wave runners at Lake Havasu! We had never been on wave runners before... So Much Fun! Wet Monkey’s staff was Very Helpful from the start, they were patient with sizes us for life jackets and how the wave runners operate, and launching us!

My family and I were staying at Pirates Cove Resort. Decided to rent a boat. Pirates Cove directed me to Wet Monkey Powersports. The boat was perfect, NO STRESS, meet Wet Monkey staff at the launch ramp and away we went. My kids loved the tube, which was included at no extra charge.

First time to LHC, rented a ATV, went sight seeing! Perfect day!Wet Monkey Powersports staff and equipment was excellent! We will be back.

Reserved one of Wet Monkey’s New Bennington Tri –Toons. Would not have known about the New Bennington’s without Debra’s informing us. FANTASTIC customer service. We enjoyed the Bennington so much we added another day! No hassle at any time with our boat rental. Next vacation back to the Lake and Wet Monkey Boat Rentals!

From the moment my family and I walked into the Wet Monkey Boat Rentals we were greeted with a smile and very cheerful staff! Debra helped my family size our children for jackets and pick out the tube. Once our paper work was completed, our driver Jake was right there explaining our boat. Rented an Ebb Tide Deck Boat from Wet Monkey Boat Rentals. My wife and kids ENJOYED every minute on the boat. Went tubing, which was included in the rental at no extra charge. See you next year!

The Most FUN we have had at Lake Havasu. Wet Monkey Powersports Boat Rentals Wave runner was Supper Clean. Great way to explore the coves!

Stopped in the Wet Monkey to rent one of the Can-Am Mavericks... Had a perfect day! The Can – am was MUCH FUN!!! The staff was very helpful. My Family and I cannot wait to come try it again!! Next time, we will be taking a boat for one day and the Can-Am Maverick for another!!!

First time to Lake Havasu. Landed at Wet Monkey Powersports Boat Rentals. Rented the Yamaha AR 230 Twin Engine Jet Boat. The Boat was A+ .... Went Wakeboarding and Tubing! My buddies and I were impressed with Wet Monkey’s employee’s and their boat!!! We Will BE BACK.

FIVE STARS to Wet Monkey Boat Rentals for THEIR PROFESSIONALISM!!!!!

It is a TRAGEDY that 18 men come into a business, and INTIMIDATE and TERRORIZE an elderly woman UNTIL Law Enforcement has to be called on them. Then the 18 men are made to leave for trespassing by Law Enforcement. Now, these men are claiming "they" are the victims. BIG NEGATIVE TO THE 18 men.

Visiting from Alaska, my family and I decided to explore Lake Havasu. Renting a pontoon boat from Wet Monkey was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff is friendly and informative, getting us on our way very quickly. At any vacation destination you have tours and services to choose from, I was very satisfied with the equipment and service from the owners and staff of Wet Monkey. We will be coming back!

Lake was awesome, the day was awesome until we returned the boat. The owner has a nice scam. They spray paint the used props. When you bring back the boat and the paint is missing they charge you for a new prop $150. Pictures taken before clearly show a used prop with a thick coat of paint. When you dispute the claim, the customer service turns confrontational. I will try my luck with another vendor my next trip.

I've been renting from Wet Monkey Power Sports for years and this is the first bad experience I've received from them. First off, Chris is a cool guy and even though I didn't see him the whole weekend, he and his other old partner (not bob, even though he was cool as well) are the reason I come back to wet monkey. However, this time I learned that they've acquired or merged with the defunct funtime rentals. The reason I've never went back to Fun time boat rentals was because they had poor customer service. Now with the two companies working as one, I'm afraid wet monkey has also acquired some of those bad employees that fun time rental was notorious for.



Most of my experience was pretty good. However, there was this one guy name Dave that almost ruined my day. We had rented a boat for two days and I decided to go wake boarding and they told me to just grab any off the wall. I should have inspected the board but I was too excited to get out on the lake so I just grabbed the closest one and hopped onto the boat. While on the water, we noticed the strap was broken and decided to just wake board the second day.



The next day, we went to go trade the worn down wake board for another one. That's when Dave stopped us and asked us why. When I told him it was already broken, Dave out of nowhere blew his lid. He started screaming at us. Everyone in my party was just dumbfounded over how he overreacted. WOW! REALLY? Even if we did break the strap, how about you act like a grown adult and just talk to us like a normal human being? You gave us a worn down wake board and blamed us for it? I've spent over $6000 over the last few years with them and I will no longer spend another penny until I get an apology to me and my entire party.



Worst part of the weekend was dealing with Dave!

Go somewhere else!

1. If you do go here make sure you check every inch of the boat and take pictures or video of it.

2. Don't put down a deposit (non-refundable), you'll will not get the boat you reserved. They will pick you up late in a van that is not air conditioned and seats only 6 people.

3. Be back in early because the Monkeys start drinking early and want to fight. Owner and employees drinking, NOT PROFESSIONAL!.

4. Gas gauge does not work and the gas came up to $75 for pontoon and $100 for the deck boat. This is a preset amount unless you actually use more than $25 worth of gas.

5. They overcharge for damages. First they say they have to change the carpet for 2 small burn marks and then say they have to mark down 2 more burn marks for the next customer. They had no intention of changing the carpet.

Charged $125 for 2 small cigarette burn marks.

This place is awesome!



My boyfriend and I rented a boat here for a camping trip that we took. The boat worked great and we had absolutely no problems whatsoever.



The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us some great advice in regards to navigating our trip.



Wet Monkey helped to make our camping trip the best trip yet.



We are definitely going to return! I would recommend their services to anyone.

The WETMONKEY is a total RIP OFF !!!! Everything was fine when they approved my credit card and rental. The next day they were 2 hours late, no one answered the phone when I called. They were very rude and became threatening to the point that I felt it better to stand down before they got physical. My wife and children were present at this time. When it was time to return the boat, charges were added to the invoice that made no sense but again the threatening voices began. I paid and consistered it a learning experience. I will never rent from the wet monkey again. A very bad experience. I will also be very careful with the other boat rental companies in town. I have talked about my experience with people in Havasu and find that these companies are not held highly by the locals.

We've rented from another company in Havasu and had a horrible experience so needless to say I was leary to rent a boat again. My husband said to give another company a chance so we did. Wet Monkey was great and I'm so glad we rented from them!! The owners are great and the pontoon we rented ran good and looked good! I'm the kind of person who reads reviews before I give someone my business so if you're ever in Havasu and need a boat rental give Wet Monkey a try..they'll take care of you!!!
