On Target Indoor Shooting Range

I was a member for more than a year without "any problem" form my side. Some of the staff are great also very helpful and understanding but the owner's brother who runs the range is amazingly rude and nasty. No customer service with a bad retired cop's attitude combined. The last day I was in the range, I was picking up my own brass with permission and apparently he did not like it so he just came in and told me either to stop or he will cancel my membership!!!

The guy doesn't even know the first rule in the business. He dose not know that the community of the members are the bread and butter of the business and his nasty attitude cannot help to educate people to obey the range's rules better. He dose not know that you cannot teach people by insulting them in public. After I was done I went to the next door and cancelled my membership immediately.

* When you signup they say that you have 10% discount on what you buy but that dose not include ammo, classes, targets and anything that I touched during my time there so what that imaginary discount should apply to, I don't know.

* Rules are hidden and are subject to change by person so whatever they do not like you to do or say it becomes a rule immediately.

* As member you are not privileged compare to none members when there is wait time and you have to wait for none members to go first.

* To shoot a rifle you have to get a rifle card from them. You have to go to a Sunday class and pay for it in order to receive you rifle card!!!

* They sell brass for reloading. Last time I purchased 4 bags of 223 brass, I broke 5 nails in my re-sizing die. They just forgot to get the stones out of the brass!!!

*The lighting and ventilation in the range is extremely poor and during the summer. You could really feel that you are in Iraq, fighting the enemy with the hear over 100 degrees.

Staff seems nice, clean range, decent prices, -1 star for not allowing people to keep their own brass.

I read the other reviews and have to say that the guys were very friendly and helpful. It was crowded and I was able to buy and shoot the same day. I highly reccomend this place. I will be back to use the range for sure.

Don't EVER think about showing up at 8:30 on a Saturday evening. Maybe it was past their bedtimes.... We are NEW CUSTOMERS to the range...PAID for an extra rifle safety class to shoot rifles at the range. This was our first time back. Drove 30 miles from long beach to be TURNED AWAY at 8:30. "Sorry guys, we're not taking any more shooters tonight..the place was EMPTY. Bad news travels FAST boys. What a bad move for on target...

This shooting range is one of the best around. I have been shooting for several years and this one is by far the best i have ever been to.Best gun prices around and the staff is fabulous. they are not only knowledgeable but firm when it come to safety. I was lucky to be there when one of the employees had to kick someone out because that customer was not following the rules. They argued and tried to talk their way out of it but i was happy to see that the employee ( older man, very tall, white hair) didnt budge on the rules. That further proves that this range is a safe one to be at. I have done some searching on line and have read some reviews about this place where the customer was less than satisfied but I believe you disgruntled custmers fail to realize that this is not just a typical biz, ITS A DANGEROUS BIZ, guns are nothing to take lightly. if you dont follow the safety rules be prepared to be kicked out. Dont take it personal its for your safety and the safety of others. and one post i read said something about ON TARGET not "manning the cameras" well I feel it nesessary to inform you that there are over 32 cameras watching you. So if you are caught doing something that you are not supposed to (which is why customers get kicked out) they have proof. So stop being so childish and learn that if you follow the rules then you can play.. pretty simple.. keep up the good work guys!!

The staff were very friendly to me and answered all of my questions nicely. They seem to be very knowledgable about guns and safety. The overall look was clean and orderly. I recommed their range and sales area highly.

Staff was rude. I went to this range and when i presented my I.D. to an older gentleman, he through a fit, like I was a wanted felon, for handing him an expired I.D.. I even appoligized for not noticing my I.D. had expired a month and a half ago. The owner had to intervene before he became too embarassed.

I had the best time, the people were helpful and friendly. I drive out of my way just to go to this location. go and have a great time. P.S. it make for a great date.
