Angler's Arsenal

I have used Angler's Arsenal many times. Last week I ordered a Seeker 6470 rush shipping for my Dads Birthday. Shipping went from $7.00 to $30.00. The Rod never came so I called and they said they will get it right to me. It came in 8 days not overnight needless to say I didn't have it for my Dad's Birthday. I then Asked Angler's Arsenal to refund my shipping and get me the rod. The rod came in and it was the wrong rod. I called back and they said it was seeker and he would follow up with it. I then told I would even buy the wrong rod is he would give me a deal on it. He said no and Seeker was looking into what was going on. I had to call him again and ask what was going on he said he gave seeker the wrong # so he was sorry. I said it was ok just take off the shipping and send the rod. He would not I then got in touch with seeker. What nice guys they said they would help me and sorry for Angler's Arsenal and that they will talk to them. They also said the rod should of got to me the next day with out the $30.00 charge they were also sorry about that. I had to go to my bank to get my money back and seeker is picking up the wrong rod that was sent to me. This is what Angler's Arsenal had the nerve to write me after 2 weeks of them saying they wouldn't refund to amount I paid.

So let me get this straight.

You say Seeker is sending a ups tag tor you so you can return the rod. Great.

Angler's Arsenal was going to reverse the charge we made on your credit card. Are you now saying that you have talked with your bank and they are going to refund you the entire amount. What are you thinking? Did you think we would not issue you your complete credit? Angler's Arsenal will run your credit. Please advise your bank there is no need for them to refund you anything. I will wait till I hear back from you.

Now remember, we were going to send you out that G6470-7 for the complete price we charge you. I hope you can come close to matching that price if you do desire that rod model and purchase it somewhere else.

I'll have a call tag sent out to you right away and the rod will be picked up. Just for the record, it wasn't our intention to leave you hanging with the freight bill. As a matter of fact, I would not have sent it out overnight or priority because it should in nearly all cases been delivered the next day via ground service. Additionally, had I been aware of the issue on the front end, I would have made sure that I delivered it to you personally so that you could have the rod in time. I apologize for that one too. It really boils down to the fact that John made a number of mistakes in this transaction and I will discuss it with him. He should have refunded your freight regardless of whether we refunded it to him. Regardless, I promise to make sure that the rod is picked up from you. I hope that in the future you are able to give Seeker another try.
