Located on North Torrey Pines Road, just north of Scripps Clinic and Scripps Green Hospital, Scripps Clinic's Bighorn Mohs Surgery and Dermatology Center offers advanced skin cancer treatments from San Diego's leading dermatologists. The center serves patients from La Jolla, Del Mar, Clairemont, University City, Mira Mesa and other communities in San Diego County. Mohs micrographic surgery removes thin layers of skin until only cancer-free tissue remains. The procedure conserves healthy tissue and minimizes scarring - especially for tumors on or near the nose, eyes, ears, forehead or scalp.
