I've gone to Edith's half a dozen times or so for various occassions and every single rental has been top notch. The amount of effort and care that goes on behind the scenes when it comes to getting a perfect fit is astounding.

As a guy that's 6'6", I completely respect Tom and everyone that works there for making what is usually a huge chore for me (finding clothes that fit) and turning it into a hassle-free experience. You don't find many places like this around anymore which is a shame. I recently had to get fit for a tux for a friend's wedding around the Milwaukee area at Men's Warehouse and the experiences between Edith's and MW are night and day. The measurements I was fitted for at MW weren't even close to correct.

Going to Edith's is a no-brainer and my only complaint is that there aren't more stores outside of Fond du Lac.

We needed a tuxedo for a wedding. We are giving 6 weeks notice. We were told that there is no guarantee on day needed. The attendant stated there were lots of rentals the day we needed it picked up and we can order it but it wasn't guaranteed to come in on that day. The attendants were confused and rude!

I just wanted to let everyone know about my amazing experience at Edith's bridal! I went to Edith's on 4/18/2014 to try on dresses and I worked with Sharon. I was nervous when I went at first because I am a size 22/24 and most stores do not have any options for plus sizes. I had a very self-esteem crushing experience back in September trying on bridesmaids dresses at a different store and still had a bad taste in my mouth from that.

I was greeted right when I walked in the door and Sharon started working with us right away. To my delight, there was a whole rack of size 20-28 dresses to try on! I picked about 5 to try on. This was my first experience trying on any bridals, and I had no clue what style I would look good on my body shape.

Sharon was wonderful the entire time. She was very sweet, accommodating, and had great opinions and recommendations. I am a pretty self conscious person, (especially having to be in my bra and underwear in front of a total stranger). But honestly, Sharon made me feel completely comfortable. She asked great questions and even grabbed 2 more dresses for me to try on. She was not pushy at all and I did not feel rushed. She has been working there for 26 years and you can tell she loves what she does. The dress I actually came there for, I ended up not liking as much as I thought I would. But I fell in love with another gorgeous dress that I am really considering purchasing.

When I was leaving, I asked to speak with a manager, and the owner (Kathy) actually came and talked to me. She was a sweetheart too and really appreciated me coming to her and letting her know how wonderful Sharon was.

The only bummer was that you are not allowed to take pictures of you in the dress. I was looking forward to this because my maid of honor could not be there, but I understand why they have this policy as people can replicate these dresses from pictures. Overall, I would seriously recommend Edith's to anyone who wants that that genuine experience. You can really tell they take pride in what they do and it's not so corporate like other chain bridal stores. After my experience here, it will be hard for any other store to impress me. It truly was a great day for my mom and I and I loved every minute of it!! -Christine P.

I want to let Edith’s know how much I appreciate all the help in making my wedding everything I dreamed it would be! My dress was absolutely perfect, and the jewelry, veil, headpiece, and shoes were all the best of accessories. !

My dress fitting was flawless and the lady who found the dress of my dreams was amazing. She stayed within my budget and was very great at running a smooth appointment. I paid in full right away and now I'm wondering if that was a mistake. When I went to pick up my dress it was like no one blinked at me, even though I set up an appointment and they knew I was coming. There were two girls who made me feel like they just wanted to get paid to stand around and gossip in the back room rather than appreciate the money I put into buying through their business so they could even HAVE a job in the first place. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED that my expensive dress was placed into what can pretty much be summed up as an extended white TRASH BAG with the bottom cut off and tied up. SERIOUSLY? Edith's can't afford real garment bags for people who spend over a thousand dollars? I know of several other bridal shops that give you professional garment bags that actually have zippers on them! When I asked why my dress wasn't leaving in a suitable bag the girl said that the white trash bag was "better" than the expensive garment bags they have ALL their dresses stored in on their own racks! I don't believe that lie for a second! If the trash bags are better for the dresses why wouldn't they keep their OWN dresses in it? I feel like I was ripped off from my bag so that they could use it in their OWN store! On top of all of that I was STILL buying my Mom her Mother Of The Bride dress downstairs which was just under $200! The lady was with other wedding parties so we were waiting patiently for her to finish so I could pay for the dress... until the girl from upstairs whined "Can we go put these out in your vehicle now and you can come back inside and pay?" So she wanted me to leave my dress outside in my car in a back parking lot with no one to watch it so that she could go back and gossip with her friend? Seriously, think twice unless you want to leave with trash bags and trash service in the end!

We ordered everything from this place, and was very pleased with everything. I liked the way they dresses mannequins in the tuxedo dept with our vest colors.

I recently shopped at Edith's Bridal and had truly a wonderful experience. I started in the bridal department and found my bridal gown. THe lady that had helped me was very helpful and patient. I absolutely love my bridal gown!!! After i found my dress my bridesmaids and I went to the bridesmaids department and found a huge selection of dresses! OUr consultant helped pull dresses and clipped my girls into dresses for a good fit. We ended up purchasing the bridesmaids dresses the same day. The overall experience was terrific i reccommend purchasing at Edith's Bridal. Everyone is very helpful and patient. The consultants were constantly at my side to assist me. THey went above and beyond for me and my bridesmaids. I also recieved a great discount on my headpiece and veil and my bridesmaids recieved a deal as well on their dresses. Edith's is a one stop shop they have everything!! trust me, shop at Edith's.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE TROUBLESHOOTING. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER OR ABOUT YOUR WEDDING DAY. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IT GETTING THEIR MONEY AND ONCE THEY HAVE IT YOU ARE NO GOOD TO THEM. THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL WEDDING SHOPS TO GO TO THAT ACTUALLY HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TREAT YOU LIKE THEY WANT YOUR BUSINESS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PLACE. IF YOU DO, CHANCES ARE VERY LIKELY YOU WILL REGRET IT. WE SURE DID!

We went to Ediths for bridesmaids dresses for my future sister in laws wedding. We went and got sized and ordered the dresses in March and it now is 2 weeks before the wedding (4 months have passed) and everytime a member in the wedding party calls to see where our dresses are we all get different answers and they dont sound very concerned that these dresses arent in yet. Plus the dress when we tried them on seemed to be really low quality for the price, we could have gotten better quality and less expensive dresses at Davids Bridal and we could have gotten them on time! I'm getting married also and i had my girls go to Davids Bridal for their dresses and we went after we went to Ediths and my girls all got their dresses in a month time. Unless you want to be freaking out about whether you will have your dress for your event i wouldnt go here!
