Home Health and Hospice Care is one of the leading home health and hospice providers in eastern North Carolina. It is a private, nonprofit organization that has been operational since 1981. The organization s programs are accredited by Community Health Accreditation Program Incorporated. It employs more than 400 individuals and operates over five clinical offices. The organization also operates Kitty Askins Hospice Center, which features nearly 10 rooms. It provides bereavement and spiritual care services. The organization offers physical, occupational and speech therapies. Home Health and Hospice Care supervises the Wings! Camp for Grieving Children. It additionally participates in several fundraisers.
