Make sure you take pictures of any family jewelry you trust them with and be sure to get it appraised before you drop it off. They lost an antique gold engagement ring (after they reset the diamond, thank god) and never even bothered to call us to apologize . After waiting a week my boyfriend called them (at my urging) and was told that it would be his responsibility to provide them with an appraisal of my families ring..... Won't that be a pleasant conversation with his future mother in law? I couldn't believe the managers gall in acting like we are to blame because they lost (or someone stole) my ring. I should have known because the day I discovered that they had lost my ring, there were two other disgruntled customers in the shop...one who had the diamond fall out of her ring after they inspected it a few days earlier and a guy who had had his ring sized incorrectly by their staff TWICE. I called myself and got a similar run around tonight. I certainly would never tell ANYONE to shop here!
