I saw a bracelet I couldn’t say no to and I got a good deal. I caught it on something and it broke but Spectrum fixed it for me.

Beautiful store, superb designs and a great collection of Alexandrites which is my birthstone and I have been looking for one for years. Owner and gemologist Meeta Jethani custom made a beautiful ring for me with a GIA certified Alexandrite and I love it...will definitely look her up when I am ready for a pendant to match.. did not expect to find an Alexandrite in Alaska

Stay away, unscrupulous business practices.
Norwegian Cruise recommended this store. Business owner Meeta Jethani flat out LIED when we purchased a Ruby tennis bracelet and pendant $1700. I specifically asked if the stones were glass filled and she said they were not and only 'enhanced' I knew the rubies were not going to be great for the money but had them appraised at home and found all stones were glass filled and basically worthless. Set up conference call with Meeta and our independent appraiser and she would not differentiate between glass filled and enhanced. Eventually she offered a full refund. I shipped the jewelry back to her store and was lead along about when the refund would be processed. I was able to get the issue resolved by disputing the charge with my credit company. Waste of time and money.

I was at Spectrum Fine Jewelry ketchikan on Star Princess cruise last week. We wanted a piece of Jewelry that our kids could inherit and designer Meeta Jethani went out of the way to custom made Tanzanite ring and it stole my wife's heart right there. I would recommend every one to come visit their locations in Alaska. Their Gold Rush hunt for coins and charms is very good deal

Beautiful selection of rare gems. Bought a 1 carat GIA certified Alexandrite from their gemologist Meeta Jethani. It was a better price than I had expected to pay and it really helps that tax in Ketchikan is only $65. Never expected to find a nice selection of Alexandrites in Ketchikan

This Jewellers is notorious in robbing Customers.Beware From This Jewellers when you visit Alaska.They advertise in cruise line by giving free gift deal is you have to visit each store at each ports.This is their plan so that they can hunt you ,

Their employees who are trained on commission basis try to show you all Jewellery which is marked up more than 500% and keep you for maximum time in your store,

So that they can lure you to the sparkling Jewellers,It's all psychology once you start showing interest they will read your mind and will try to convince you to buy this stone as it is only available in Alaska and will say all nonsense,

Once you agree the sales person will give you discount upto 50% if you insist more he will call another supervisor will give you another 20% if you still insist for more discount will call the boss and will give you final 75% on tag price.



This is how they play and once credit card is swiped they got their commission and no return or exchange policy.They have huge margin they convince you giving best deal.



This is their way of functioning, I have visited Alaska 5 times they have every season different sales person who is trained same way and work seasonal so their is no guarantee of their Jewellers or service.



Beware from this Jewellers they have different name like Miners Gems is same company.

I purchased a gorgeous caribbean topaz ring in St. Thomas while on a cruise. I got home and 3 weeks later there was a huge chip in my stone. I called Spectrum four times. After not reaching anyone, I called Helma who was my saleswoman down in St. Thomas. She called Spectrum in CA and they finally called me back. Katrina said to send my ring back to them and it would be repaired and sent back to me. THREE MONTHS LATER I still don't have my ring. I have called NUMEROUS times to check on it and keep getting the brush off. I called yesterday and a man said they were too busy right now because they were opening a ton of new stores in AK and they couldn't deal with my issue. Apparently my ring went from their co. in CA and now they have moved to AK.I am about ready to hire an attorney and sue their sorry you-know-whats. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

I do not recommend this business to anyone who wants customer service after the sale. I have been awaiting over 2 months for a certificate of authenticity. The manager told us it is in the mail. We are still waiting for the post office to deliver it. Every time we call the service is unacceptable and disappointing. As a business they should be more professional and personnel. But the big money they receive over rules their accountability for servicing their customers. I will never shop at this business again. And I am making a formal complaint against them. I hope you do not make the mastake we did.

I purchased various items from this jewlery store and repeatedly called for an appraisal for my items and NEVER got them. To make manners worse the persons handling this manner was totally rude and unprofessional - then tried talking to owner or manager and they were never available. I would NEVER recommend this business to any one, and will be filing a formal complaint to the better business bureau. Walk no better run away from this establishment, do not waste your time or money there.
