15 days ago I purchased a 2004 Cadillac with 86K miles. It was in beautiful condition and we paid NADA retail value for the car. It made a rumbling sound under our feet at test drive. Roberts Auto fixed it and we drove off with the car. Took it to dealership for once over and they sent us home with a list of things that needed to be fixed--half the value of the price we paid for the car. Roberts Auto agreed to fix some of the items and tried to negotiate a 50/50 deal with us. Car was returned two weeks later with one of the major items fixed. Then the check engine light came on saying car was over heating and the transmission fluid needs to be changed--both NEW items that weren't on the original list. Bottom line, this place is looking to make a quick buck. They buy pretty cars that look good, wash em up and stick them on the lot without a thorough inspection. We even had to replace the battery in the keyless entry. OIl leaks, overheating, transmission fluid, air-filters, I could go on. Save yourself the hassle and buy from a bigger dealership that services the vehicles they sell.
