Got eyelash extentions done her the lady told me she was licensed and that she will be using mink lashes ...had to have them removed by someone else because I found out this lady was not licensed she used 3 point lash for my extention we dont know what type of glue she use but it was not for lash extentions....it took 1 1/2 hours for the other place to removed the lashes and glue.....PLEASE BEWARE
Horrible, cut several inches off my hair, clearly asked for basic trim, asked to cut little off as possible, she waked off 3 inches, using some strange razor comb, left my hair completely uneven entire cut took maximum of 5 minutes ( I have (had) very long hair. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Please beware, also doesn't take debit? Wtf, altogether bad service. .............................
I was initially drawn in by the low price for an adult hair cut, so I sat down and waited 20 minutes for the next stylist to become available. When I met the beautician I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. About 2 inches of layers on the bottom of my medium length hair, slight bangs that frame my face and please keep as much length as possible. I walked out with an 80's shag that was at least 3 inches shorter than when I walked in. She ripped through my hair with a hard comb and about a half gallon of spray conditioner rather than washing it, and dried the front for about 20 seconds so that when I finished running errands, I had a wet spot on the back of my shirt from my dripping hair. Waste of $17, will not return or recommend.
My daughter come in to get her hair "trimmed" and she Walked out looking like my son you guys need better training
I have had my lashes done at Lucas Marc and at the Lash & massage image and I like Alisha at studio one the best! She takes her time to do them correctly and they stay on a good amount of time!
I have gone to Red roote Salon for various purposes including hair, nails and skin. Not anymore! The last time I went for a hair cut the appointment was input incorrectly so I showed up first thing in the morning and the [owner?] was opening. She said I was not in the book but she could do my hair anyways. I have long, unstyled hair that needed some ends cut and a little shape. She literally took off a teaspon of hair and charged me $30. Months later I call for a nail appt. I am assigned to this bizarre chick that proceeds to tell me all about her criminal boyfriend and his brother that is in prison for murder! She was just weird by nature but the stories were ones I would just as soon not be associated with. The nails were "OK" but not great especially for $60 a set! and $40 for fills! I finally bagged that place after spending way more $$ than they are worth.
I've been going to Rachel for years, and she's always been fantastic. She actually saved me one day when the hairdresser I made an appointment with (at a previous salon) was a no-show!! She graciously managed to fit me in and I have been a loyal customer ever since. Her shampoo / scalp massage is divine, and she does a great job of giving me whatever I ask for when I want to change it up from cut to cut. Prices are super reasonable too! I can't speak to the others who work there, as I've only ever gone to Rachel, but I'm sure they are just as great. Two big thumbs up for Salon West, highly recommended!
