My family and I have been using Igloo coolers for more than forty years. We have had everything from small Playmates and personal beverage coolers to large 165 quart coolers, and most everything in between. We have been very pleased with the performance of every product. The only complaint we have is that some products we have truly enjoyed have been discontinued. We have had to replace some hinges, latches, and handles through the years, but since these items are standard on all Igloo products, that has not been a problem.



I have a personal testimonial regarding the MaxCold units. When preparing to move from Tennessee to Texas in 2006, I purchased a 70 quart MaxCold cooler to replace an old Rubbermaid unit. I packed frozen meat, fruits, vegetables, etc. from my freezer into this cooler, filling it completely. The cooler rode from Tennessee to Texas on an open flatbed utility trailer, in 90+ degree weather. By the time our freezer was hooked up in our new home, that cooler had been packed (unopened) for almost 6 days. When I opened the cooler, the food was still frozen solid! I was amazed, and very pleased that I did not have to immediately use those foodstuffs.

After calling this number and going to numerous sites to get a burner cover, I was told by the represititive at this phone number that they sell out their name and do not take any liabilty for the products produced under their name. Then calling Vince at the number 866-626-4745 stated that they do not carry parts for this product. He said that it had a 3 year warranty, and on the back of the unit it states a 5 year warranty and so does the paper work that came with it. It was purchased in 2005 and is only two years old. Igloo does not provide parts as required by warranty statements nor do they take their name seriously enough to not sell it out to any company in China selling to Walmart. I will never consider any products produced by them as any value again. I paid $649.99 for this grill September 2005.
