Villa Antonia

Villa Antonia is absolutely beautiful...however please be warned by my experience before booking your wedding here.  There are a whole list of events that occured leasing up to our wedding that made it very clear this establishment is poorly organized.  However, the actual weekend of our wedding was the biggest disappointment.  When we showed up to our rehersal at the scheduled time we were greeted by our "coordinator" whom we had never met (there were a total of 3 different coordinators during our 9 months of planning) who looked at us as though she had no idea who we were. We had met with the previous coordinator in the months prior laying out the plans including our ceremony and reception details. None of these said details were known by our new coordinator...not even the fact that we were having a Jewish ceremony.  The day of the wedding was equally as chaotic ... there was not one person working who knew what our discussed plan for the day would be.  At one point my MOH had to call one of the people who we had met at our rehearsal who seemed to have a little bit of a clue and ask her to please come up to the venue bc we needed help. My bridesmaids, photographer & DJ ended up coordinating the entire night including our first look.  This would all be fine had we not paid a mandatory $800 to have a "coordinator" who we were assured would make our day seamless and stress free.  This brief summary is not even the half of it...Save yourself the stress...there are so many other beautiful venues out there who actually have it together...which I now know is so important for such a special day

Okay, well I'll be honest, when me and my fiancé, now husband were looking for a place to get married, I went out to Villa Antonia and fell in LOVE with the venue!! It was breathtaking!!! I live in Dallas, so I like everyone else went and read reviews about Villa Antonia, which were not very good. However, we chose to have our wedding there any way despite what we read....and let me tell you....it was AMAZING!!! I actually had a issue with my florist not showing up and Shelly the new wedding coordinator bent over backwards to help set up, order me new flowers, and make sure that my wedding went off perfectly!!! She and Maria were absolutely the best!!! Luckily my flowers showed up but Shelly and Maria had to place all the flowers and in a short amount of time. Everything turned out great and largely in thanks to the staff at Villa Antonia! If you are wavering at all about having your wedding there due to reviews, please do not! You'd be making a huge mistake! It is by far the most beautiful venue I've ever seen and the staff is AWESOME!!!
